The annual meeting provides an opportunity for community members
to share with the community its accomplishments and financials, visually and in the form of an Annual Report. It also provides an occasion for volunteer recognition, and allows members, volunteers and the community at large to mix and mingle.
This was the culmination of prolonged deliberations by a band of energetic and enthusiastic urasu members residing in Mysore and karnataka, who realized the need for a place to get together, where they would get to know their brethren closer, a body which could arrange religious and cultural programmes for the religious enrichment of the community and an organ which would devote itself to the noble cause of the upliftment of the impoverished, a forum for the overall benefit of the members.
In this interest the committee arranges different festivals like Republic Day, Sri Rama navami, Independence Day, Annual sports, Founder's Day, Kannada Rajyotsava, Cultural programmes.
